Whether you are young or old there is a part of you that would love to live in the high stakes world of James Bond. Fast cars, swish hotels and bringing evil villans to justice, its a fast paced and exiting world that James Bond lives in. Even people who don’t like James Bond have a soft spot for all the James Bond Toys and gadgets that appear in the movie. James Bond toys have a great appeal to people of all ages as they let them get just that little bit closer to living the high life of a secret agent. There have been a number of James Bond Toys released in the past, but with every new James Bond movie release, there are a number of useful and entertaining toys that go along with it. so without further dely, I present to you:

The Top 5 James Bond Toys

James Bond Toy #5

Ski-Doo MX Z-Rev Snowmobile

Remember this bad boy from Die Another Day? Who could forget it? Flying down Icelandic mountains at a frantic pace, bouncing of huge snow banks and pulling off jumps and drops over hunderds of feet - all while under sporatic gunfire from the bad guys in hot pursuit.

Ski-doo went ahead and released a 007 edition of their snowmobile for the avid James Bond fan who wants it all! Commanding a price of $11,00 this James Bond Toy might be a little too pricey for most James Bond fans, which is why it has come in at number 5 on our James Bond Toys list.

James Bond Toy #4

World’s most dangerous suitcase.

The stylish suitcase carried by James Bond to his meeting in From Russia with Love, was not only the pinnacle of fashion, but also packed a deadly arsenal of weapons, projectile knife, 40 rounds of ammunition, tear gas disguised as talcum powder and with the feature that it will explode if it isn’t opened properly- its a wonder he had any space left to actually hold any paperwork.

You’d never feel under-prepared walking into a meeting with this briefcase in you hand.

James Bond Toy #3

Full size remote control car.

Most people have had a remote control car at one time or another, the little eletric engine buzzing as it darts across the street and into your neighbours hedges. Well James Bond isn’t content with a small electric version and in Tomorrow Never Dies, gets his hands on his own remote control car - only that its a fully sized and fatured BMW. Not only that, he can control all the guns, rockets, caltrops and every other weapon and gizmo on the car through his remote control. You’d have a hard time topping that!

James Bond Toy #2

Jetpack!

Thre’s not much to be said about the jetpack that it doesn’t already say for itself. Falling off a cliff - jetpack, quick escape from bad guys - jetpack, need to scale the wall of a villans fortress - jetpack.

If James Bond had a jetpack on hand more often, the movies would be over a lot quicker as it would help him aviod 50% of his problems.

Which brings us to…

James Bond Toy #1

James Bond’s Super Secret Agent Car.

Now I use the broad term ‘car’ here only becuase he changes vehicles more often than a politician changes their mind. A quick list of cars off the top of my head says that he has driven an Aston Martin, BMW, Ferrari, Lotus, Audi, Saab and so forth and so on. In fact, the list for the cars he hasn’t driven would probably be shorter.

But no matter the car, they always come packed to the gills with handy gadgets and defensive mechanisms such as smoke screen, tyre shredders, machine guns, rockets, ejector seats and even high pressure water hoses in the exhaust pipes.

I sure many readers will have other ideas about what the best James Bond Toys were, or if you think a different toy deserves to be in the list, please leave a comment and let me know!

It used to be Agent 007 enjoying the sweetest ride on the road. But that was before. Nowadays, each driver is given the opportunity to ride high-tech autos. That fact makes James Bond jealous for sure.

Spectacular auto features are now made available by automakers but they also come with awesome price tags. Nonetheless, these gadgets are worth it. From push-button parking to night vision systems, today’s auto and car features are simply fascinating.

A few years ago, a vehicle could show the driver the location via digital map. The car could take control when it begins to skid. It could also automatically maintain a set of distance from the car in front. However, these auto features are becoming increasingly common. Hence, there has to be something more interesting and useful.

What’s next? How about a car that parks itself? Drivers who are oftentimes faced with parking problems will find the Lexus Intelligent Park Assist system pretty much beneficial. The said feature is available on the Toyota Prius and offered as an option on the redesigned LS models. Essentially, the system enables the driver to pull up to an available parking space by just pressing a button. According to Lexus, the driver only has to apply a little braking pressure.

If you find the Intelligent Park Assist system not that beneficial, you may find a system that keeps an eye on blind spots interesting. According to statistics, many road accidents occur when the driver tries to change lanes without being aware of a vehicle in his “blind spot.â€Â

The new James Bond film, Casino Royale, staring Daniel Craig, is by far the best James Bond film ever made. The best?

Not necessarily in terms of special effects, spectacular climax scenes at the end of the film, or even action segments. It is the best, as it’s most believable, both in terms of the character himself, and the story.

Casino Royale is an action film for sure, but with some reality twists that almost let you believe it could have really happened.

The earlier Bond films were somehow too Hollywood, too fixed for convenient solutions, and left the viewer without any need to think.

There is no shortage for real action, and fight scenes that instead of being just choreographed, are planed out for realism.

Daniel Craig is not Sean Connery, but nevertheless, you meet with the events that formed James Bond into what he became and in this film, you can believe it.

The plot wherein Bond is assigned to play Texas Hold’em (a new form of high-stakes poker) is also very believable.

Bond errors in his technique, and loses a great deal of money to the film’s villain. However returns to play the game in the best way, and in a very realistic scene, he holds cards to create a Flush against the villains Full House.

Like all the other scenes, and story development, its very believable.

The gadgets are underplayed, and all Sony-based (Sony owns Colombia Pictures), but not as blatant “product placement” as it could have been.

The director and writers had some good mission here to make things natural and believable, and they succeeded for the most part.

The development as Bond as a lady killer is well thought out as well, with a UK Treasury official, naturally a beautiful girl, being put to look after Bond’s gambling stake.

She is played by Eva Green’, as Vesper Lynd, and is an a typical Bond girl.

She is definitely smart, witty, willful and not immediately set to join Bond in bed. Her role is also believable (although her death is not), but it becomes necessary so you can see the development of the unique Bond character.

Daniel Craig’s look fits exactly the role of what Bond is, a spy, killer, patriot, and professional in his work.

Other Bonds were famous actors, and played their part well, but were never totally believable. We think they have achieved a great degree of realism with Craig.

The villains are also quiet believable, as is their villainy.

Sponsors of terrorism, as a theme is quite topical and the actors chosen give you no doubt they could be capable of the task. It’s about big money and villainy, and there is enough evidence of it in this film as well.

The film runs 144 minutes, and although it is not packed as were other Bond films with explosions, chases, and fighting, there is not a dull moment.

Craig and the cast are excellent, the director and screen writers all are to be congratulated. The film is a must see, and will no doubt be the groundwork for all Bonds in the 21 century.

Every James Bond ever made has had a scene that had Q showing James Bond a bunch of gadgets that will help him with his mission (It’s not really a pen).

The last James Bond didn’t have ANY gadgets, which kind of sucked.

Will Quantum of Solace have gadgets?

I don’t honestly know is the short answer. I do know that John Cleese isn’t in the new film - so that’s gadget man Q out of the equation. Samantha Bond (Miss Moneypenny) is another notable absentee. Apparently the movie begins about an hour after Casino Royale finished (Bond looking for revenge in Italy) so it seems like a sequel. Rumours have it that James Bond kisses a guy! And I’ve even heard that the familiar phrase “The names Bond, James Bond” isn’t used in the final cut. Is this really the James Bond we all know and love?

Suppose we’ll find out on October 31st. I can’t find myself getting over excited about the new movie but sure, I’ll go and see it.
